THERAPIST: JULIE O'SHEA
Julie has a Bachelor of Health Science (Speech Pathology) and is a certified member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). She participates in SPA’s Professional Self Regulation (PSR) program to ensure her continuing professional development.
Since 2004, Julie has been providing services to children with a variety of communication and swallowing delays and disorders. She has worked in a broad range of rural and remote settings in NSW and the Northern Territory, including Disability Services, Community Health, Hospitals, and Schools. In the Riverina, Julie has been employed by Cerebral Palsy Alliance and Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia).
Julie grew up in the rural area of Wagga Wagga and has a great appreciation of the pros and cons of living rurally. Julie relocated to Scone 6 months ago with her family. She has children of her own and understands the competing demands and challenges associated with raising a family.
Julie has experience and additional training in assessing and providing therapy to children with a variety of diagnosis, including:
